I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I run around in a cubicle maze most days. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.

Since my last post, a little over three and a half days, I’ve gotten no spam comments at all. Apparently I am so powerful that my mere words cause spammers to disappear. Please don’t fear me; I put my pants … Continue reading
My LJ has been getting a huge number of spam comments lately. I’ve seen occasional bouts of spam over the years, but in the last couple of weeks I’ve been deleting at least one per day. Since I woke up … Continue reading
Nine years ago, I joined the ranks of the few, the proud, the LiveJournalers. I thought I would have something with a bit more pith to say this time, but I haven’t come up with it yet. I’m still debating … Continue reading
