Phone selfie

I have new glasses. No one has yet commented on them and it’s been a week. Maybe everyone’s being polite. I like how the top of the glasses are kind of retro, but not too much. Also they’re more grayish instead of brown/coppery like the last ones. That’s kind of a nod to how gray my hair is getting.

And if you don’t like modern me, there’s always Young me:
November 1988
This is from November 1988. I was looking for family history photos, but came across this fairly formal portrait that I didn’t remember. It’s actually pretty good, if I may say so myself.

About Charlie Montney

I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I work from home most days leveraging resources to create shareholder value. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.
