On my front porch. Not terribly ambitious, really. But I’m having people over today, and I was running out to get soft drinks for them, so I didn’t have a lot of time. Spring is a little slow this year. It’s 53 degrees (F) out and that’s about 10 degrees below normal high temperatures. We’ve had very few normal or above days this month. At least we don’t have ten inches of wet, sloppy snow like we received a few years ago. It didn’t stick, but it was still unwelcome. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a fine weekend.
I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I run around in a cubicle maze most days. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.
