About songdogmi

I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I run around in a cubicle maze most days. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.

The dominoes keep falling! It’s great.

I just wish some of these attorneys general would have the courage to put aside their appeals. Time for them to be on the right side of history for a change …

Yeah, but that’s not going to happen in Michigan, where the (Republican, of course) attorney general has made his career from appealing to the fundies along with conservatives. I would expect he would take this to the US Supreme Court if the Court of Appeals rules against him. Unless he’s defeated in November, that is.

The only thing sweeter than knowing that marriage equality is gaining ground is the sound of fundies’ heads exploding. 🙂 Maybe we are moving out of the New Dark Ages after all.

    Maybe…just maybe…..

Slowly, slowly … I just heard that the attorney general got his stay of the judge’s order from the court of appeals, pending appeal. So it’s going to take a while, yet.
