7 Things No One Tells You About Being Homeless — Drug-addicted scammers and grifters, all of them. NOT.

The NaNoWriMo Dialogues: “When Haters Give You Lemons” — Words of encouragement from writer Chuck Wendig for those doing National Novel Writing Month (or any writing, really) and encountering people who aren’t really supportive. It’s funny.

About songdogmi

I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I run around in a cubicle maze most days. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.

The article on being Homeless is written very well- and is very sad.

Being homeless could happened to most anybody, given the right circumstances.

That’s true. We joke about getting a box and sleeping under a freeway overpass if things go bad, but it’s really not a joke, is it? is pretty insightful for a humor website.
