It’s been a long long time, but I finally have a concert coming up — this Friday! I’ll be playing as part of this week’s Live! From the Living Room Acoustic Showcase in downtown Pontiac, Michigan. It’s sudden because they had a cancellation for this week, and I just happened to be there last week to hear there was now an opening. I volunteered, and was acccepted with a smile. I’ll probably be playing my 12-string for the whole show. First time for that, so come if you’re local and like lots of jangly strings. I’ll try real hard to remember all the words to the songs.

This week’s show
Friday, April 12th
Charlie Monterey – songwriter and song interpreter, Charlie plays his own music and covers a myriad of others as well as songs of the American West, tales of Michigan, and the Great Lakes. Charlie’s lustrous guitar and his clear tenor voice perfectly frame his warm, friendly songs.
The Lost Cuzzins – are Ron McPhail, Dean Barnett, Jim Williams, and Kent Krueger. Their family ties are mysterious, including a nefarious Cajun influence as well as bloodlines from Ireland, Japan, Wales, and Germany. Their music is a mixed bag of folk, country, light rock and blues, and includes many of their own creations. All the Cuzzins sing, and intricate harmonies are their specialty. Each member is a multi-instrumentalist, presenting lively performances on acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, dobro, keyboard, harmonica, cello and pennywhistle.
