Now certifiably crazy

I’m watching the England–USA World Cup match. It’s 1-1 at halftime. I don’t know what happened; I just got sucked in. Of course I’m going for the USA team, though I’ll probably not be heartbroken if England wins. It’s expected both teams will advance from this round, anyway.

I don’t suppose anyone else in my friends list cares, not even mah British peeps. Carry on.

(p.s. My mom could’ve kept that goal out.)

About songdogmi

I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I run around in a cubicle maze most days. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.

I’m following the whole WC thing. It was a pathetic goal to let in. Waiting sixty years for a grudge match just to get a tie?!? 😦

But then again, at least we’re not the Australians. (4-0 loss to the Germans.)
