Deck us all with Boston Charlie

(I might’ve used that subject line before…)

As threatened, er, promised.

The tree somehow looks better this year than last. I don’t know how, since it’s the same tree. Maybe we decorated it better and hid the flaws more effectively. By “We” I mean my sister, my nephew’s wife (is she my niece? Help me, Miss Manners!) and my great-niece. Yes, my great-niece is only two, but she did help with the big softer ornaments on the bottom. Now, if only she could help me with Christmas cards.

About songdogmi

I'm a longhaired almost-hippie stuck in the inner suburbs of a major rust-belt metropolis who's thoughtful, creative, and kind of geeky. In exchange for a paycheck I run around in a cubicle maze most days. When I escape, I play music, hang out in coffee houses, dink around on the computer, take naps, and think I should be off in the woods somewhere. Every once in a while I get in my car and drive far, far away, though I've always come back so far.
